💸Debate — Markets Betting on Trump Election Win As Biden Performance Panned
S&P 500 futures surge toward a new record high as markets begin pricing-in a Trump 2024 election victory.
Markets now see a new high 63% chance of Trump winning the election.
Odds of President Biden winning a second term are down 15% since the debate started.
The S&P 500 is now 15 points away from a new all time high.
Markets continue to price-in a Trump win.
It comes as Biden’s debate performance is almost universally panned.
“Biden is about to face a crescendo of calls to step aside,” said a veteran Democratic strategist who has staunchly backed the President publicly. “Joe had a deep well of affection among Democrats. It has run dry.”
Biden, 81, spoke rapidly and appeared to meander through his answers, fumbling at the end of sentences even as he accused Trump of being a liar and a threat to democracy.
Trump, 78, made wild assertions and false statements, remaining unapologetic about claims the 2020 election was stolen, but in contrast to Biden looked like a President.
California Gov. Gavin Newsom, was asked repeatedly whether he would consider replacing Biden on the ticket. He said that he didn’t believe the party should change nominees. “Our nominee is Joe Biden, I’m looking forward to voting for him in November, he’s going to be our nominee,” he said, trailed by reporters as he walked through the spin room.
At the very least, Trump will never agree to debate Biden again. He’ll be happy to leave it exactly where it is.
👨⚖️Trump Immunity Case Won’t Be Decided Till Next Week

WikiLeks Founder Freed
WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange released from a British prison and on his way to a remote Pacific island where he will plead guilty to a conspiracy charge as part of a plea deal with the U.S. Justice Department, according to court documents.
The agreement will free Assange and end the yearslong legal battle over the publication of a trove of classified documents.
Assange was charged by criminal information — which typically signifies a plea deal — with conspiracy to obtain and disclose national defense information, the court documents said.
A letter from Justice Department official Matthew McKenzie said Assange would appear in court in the Northern Mariana Islands, a U.S.-controlled territory north of Guam, at 9 a.m. local time Wednesday (7 p.m. ET Tuesday) to plead guilty.
🔫Guns Public Health Crisis
Guns, the leading cause of death among children and adolescents, are a public health crisis, U.S. Surgeon General Dr. Vivek Murthy declared in an advisory.

Adults have also been impacted by the ongoing crisis. More than half of U.S. adults or their family members have experienced a firearm-related incident throughout their lives, according to an April 2023 survey.

💻Surgeon General Calls For Teen Warning On Social Media
U.S. Surgeon General Vivek Murthy is calling on Congress to require a tobacco-style warning advising parents that using social platforms might damage adolescents’ mental health.
In an op-ed in The New York Times, Murthy said the mental health crisis among young people is an urgent problem, with social media “an important contributor.”
He said his vision of the warning includes language that would alert users to the potential mental health harms of the websites and apps.
"A surgeon general’s warning label, which requires congressional action, would regularly remind parents and adolescents that social media has not been proved safe," he wrote.
💊Abortion Pill—SCOTUS Throws Out Challenges
The Supreme Court threw out its biggest abortion-related case since overturning Roe v. Wade two years ago, saying that anti-abortion forces who tried to restrict access to a commonly used abortion pill lacked legal standing.
Rejecting the highly-anticipated case preserves access to mifepristone but allows the court to skirt making a ruling on the merits of the case.
The Supreme Court held that the plaintiffs — a group of doctors who oppose abortion but don't take or prescribe mifepristone — couldn't show they were directly injured, as the Biden administration asserted during oral arguments.
But senate Republicans have defeated a bill that would have established a federal right to in-vitro fertilization, a piece of legislation that Democrats brought to the floor as part of an election-year effort to contrast their approach to reproductive rights with that of the party across the aisle.
🍎Apple Soars—Takes a Byte of AI
Apple is again the world’s richest company, beating Microsoft in valuation, shares closing at a new high a day after announcing its long-awaited artificial intelligence push, ‘Apple Intelligence’.
CEO Tim Cook emphasized the need for privacy and personalization, “beyond artificial intelligence,” into “personal intelligence.
Siri now is said to understand more and can perform numerous tasks on iPhones, iPads and Macs. Siri can also tap into ChatGPT.
Most processing will be done your device instead of on servers in the cloud. But the company said for running larger AI models Apple will keep it private by running its own servers with what it calls Private Cloud Compute.
Here are some of its capabilities:
Context-driven notifications: Apple Intelligence can recognize which notifications are important to your personal context.
Writing improvements: Apple Intelligence will introduce system-wide proofreading and style improvements across third-party and native apps.
Image generation: Apple Intelligence can create generative photos based on your photo library, similar to some other platforms. There are three styles: Sketch, Illustration, and Animation.
Cross-application tasking: Apple Intelligence can delve into your apps and execute tasks on your behalf. One of the examples Federighi gave was asking Apple Intelligence to pull up files sent by a contact in a certain time period.
Focus on personal context: Apple Intelligence can draw upon the full suite of your activity but also on what’s on your screen. For example, you can ask it whether a shifted meeting will cause you to be late to a personal commitment, Federighi said.

🇮🇱 Israel Rescues Hostages
Israel’s military rescued four hostages from central Nuseirat in Gaza on Saturday morning, in what it described as a complex daytime operation.
There are still eight Americans being held hostage by Hamas, five living and three dead.
The latest operation brings the total hostages rescued alive to seven since the start of the war following the Hamas-led attack on Oct. 7.
The newly freed hostages — Noa Argamani, 26; Almog Meir Jan, 22; Andrey Kozlov, 27; and Shlomi Ziv, 41 — were kidnapped by Hamas from the Nova music festival on Oct. 7. All four are in good medical condition and have been transferred to a hospital in Israel for further examination, the Israeli authorities said in a statement.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says Israel will not agree to a permanent cease-fire before the destruction of Hamas’s “military and governing capabilities,” a day after President Biden laid out a three-stage road map to a sustained cease-fire that the President said was backed by Israel.
The Israeli military took control over the Rafah border crossing and much of Rafah itself, in what it called a limited operation aimed at destroying Hamas targets it says were used to attack Israeli soldiers.

🌭Hot Dog Eating Contest-Netflix Vs Nathan’s
🌭FRANKLY, who really cares? But we must report:
Hot dog eating champion Joey Chestnut and Netflix are shaking up the competitive eating industry.
The New York Post reports that Chestnut, a 16-time winner of the annual July 4th Nathan’s Hot Dog Eating Competition, was let go from this year’s competition after he partnered with Impossible Foods to promote their brand new vegan hot dog.
The company has allowed Chestnut to participate in “a rival, unbranded hot dog eating contest on Labor Day” that will be filmed and streamed by Netflix.

⁉️Why Does Trump Hate Milwaukee
Donald Trump called Milwaukee — the host of the 2024 Republican National Convention — a “horrible” city and said it is overrun by crime.
The comments, which were first reported by Punchbowl’s Jake Sherman and confirmed by NBC News, drew criticism from Democrats, while Trump’s allies scrambled to defend his remarks.
The Trump campaign denied that he called the city “horrible,” writing in a press release that the reports are a “total lie.” Yet, the campaign still seemed to imply that Trump spoke disparagingly of the city.
“President Trump was explicitly referring to the problems in Milwaukee, specifically violent crime and voter fraud,” the campaign said in its statement.
Trump has repeatedly falsely claimed he won Wisconsin in 2020 and has at times blamed Milwaukee's election officials for the election outcome, baselessly claiming absentee voting in the state's largest city was rife with fraud.
The former president is celebrating his 78th birthday today, and has shown signs of slowing down, both physically and mentally.
🚨Poll: 1-in-10 Republicans Less Likely To Vote For Trump
Ten percent of Republican registered voters say they are less likely to vote for Donald Trump following his felony conviction according to a Reuters/Ipsos poll.
And a Morning Consult Poll finds 49% of Independents believe Trump should drop out of the presidential race.
The two-day Reuters poll, conducted in the hours after the Republican presidential candidate's conviction by a Manhattan jury , also found that 56% of Republican registered voters said the case would have no effect on their vote and 35% said they were more likely to support Trump, who has claimed the charges against him are politically motivated and has vowed to appeal.
Trump’s felony conviction now means he’s banned from a host of countries including Canada and UK. There are 37 countries that bar felons from entering, even to visit.
Sentencing is scheduled for July 11th. The felony conviction calls for a sentence of up to 4 years, but Trump may never see the inside of a prison cell. He could receive probation when he is sentenced, and he is certain to appeal the verdict.
📺Paramount/CBS Sale Not Done Yet
Billionaire Edgar Bronfman Jr., who once ran Warner Music and liquor giant Seagram, has reportedly expressed interest in buying the company that controls Paramount Global — adding yet another twist in the chaotic sale of the media giant.
Bronfman, backed by private-equity firm Bain Capital, is eyeing an offer between $2 billion and $2.5 billion for National Amusements, which is owned by Shari Redstone and her family, according to The Wall Street Journal.
Another offer from Skydance-RedBird has been nixed by Redstone.
In an ambitious move reflecting the turbulent currents of the media industry, Paramount has announced a major budget reduction of $500 million.
With all that in mind, the company has opted to postpone a scheduled all-employee town hall. Paramount told employees that the town hall will now be held on June 25, suggesting that there should be more clarity on the company’s future by then.
“Given the ongoing speculation regarding potential M&A, we want to be able to speak to you with as much candor and transparency as possible,” the company wrote to employees. “By moving the date, our hope is to do just that.”
🇲🇽Mexico President-A Jewish Woman
In a historic election on Sunday, Mexican voters elected a Jewish woman to lead the country, beating its neighboring ally and sometimes competitor, the United States, to that distinction.
Claudia Sheinbaum became the next negotiator-in-chief with the U.S. on issues from cross-border trade to immigration and drug and fentanyl trafficking, with consequences that inevitably spill into American households.
Early results indicated that Sheinbaum, 61, prevailed in what the authorities called the largest election in Mexico’s history, with the highest number of voters taking part and the most seats up for grabs.
⛽️Cheaper Gas For Summer
With gas prices averaging $3.60 a gallon, six cents more than a year ago, the Biden administration is releasing 1 million barrels of gasoline from a Northeast reserve established after Superstorm Sandy in a bid to lower prices at the pump this summer.
The sale, from storage sites in New Jersey and Maine, will be allocated in increments of 100,000 barrels at a time. The approach will create a competitive bidding process that ensures gasoline can flow into local retailers ahead of the July 4 holiday and sold at competitive prices, the Energy Department said.

🩻Abortion Key Election Issue As Trump Flip-Flops
The Arizona Supreme Court’s decision to bring back a 160-year-old near total ban on abortion has inflamed the politics in one of the nation’s biggest electoral battlegrounds, which is now effectively ground zero for abortion politics. With a tossup Senate race, a pair of close congressional seats and its 11 Electoral College votes on the line, the state will be one of the most closely watched in the country.
It comes as Donald Trump has changed his stance again on a nationwide abortion ban, upsetting both conservatives and liberals.
In a video shared on Truth Social, Trump said he is “proudly the person responsible” for the Supreme Court's decision to overturn Roe v. Wade, because it gave individual states the authority to decide how they approach abortion regulations.
Trump said that by overturning the landmark Supreme Court decision of 1973 — which granted women around the nation the right to an abortion — conservatives took abortion laws “out of the federal hands and brought it into the hearts, minds, and vote of the people in each state."
“My view is now that we have abortion where everyone wanted it from a legal standpoint, the states will determine by vote or legislation, or perhaps both,” he said in the clip. “And whatever they decide must be the law of the land. In this case, the law of the state.”🎢Trump Media Stock Sinks

📒 Trump Selling $60 Bibles
We kid you not. Donald Trump is promoting a line of pricey Bibles in a partnership with country music star Lee Greenwood.
The “God Bless the U.S.A. Bible” costs $59.99, not including shipping and other fees, according to its website. The partnership comes as the presumptive Republican presidential nominee has seen his net worth explode by billions of dollars on paper while he appeals massive civil penalties in multiple courts.
🚨Trump Gets Bond Deal For $454M Fraud Case
“KEEP YOUR HANDS OFF TRUMP TOWER!” blared the text message from the former president on Truth Social.
Donald has reached a deal that will spare him from paying a $454 million judgment in his civil fraud case while he appeals the penalty.
It came in the form of a bond that will prevent New York’s attorney general, who brought the lawsuit that led to the judgment, from collecting the $454 million until Trump’s appeal is resolved
The $175 million came from Knight Specialty Insurance Company, a California company that handles such deals. In providing the bond, which is a legal document, not an actual transfer of money, the firm essentially promised New York’s court system that it would cover the judgment against Trump if he loses his appeal and fails to pay.
Meanwhile, Trump supporters are being asked to help pay his legal bill. The message from his committee urges them to donate in amounts ranging from $20.24 to $3,300 or more.
Trump has also invited high-dollar donors to an April 6 fundraiser. The invitation’s fine print says donations to the Trump 47 Committee will first be used to give the maximum amount allowed under federal law to Trump’s campaign. Anything left over from the donation next goes toward a maximum contribution to the Save America PAC, and then anything left from there goes to the RNC and then to state political parties
President Biden is maintaining a significant fundraising advantage over Trump, who is running out of campaign money he can tap for legal fees.
It all comes as Trump has also warned that if he isn't elected in the upcoming presidential election "it's gonna be a bloodbath" for the country.
Trump delivered the chilling messages while addressing supporters at a Buckeye Values PAC Rally in Dayton, Ohio

🦟Cicadas Coming To Bug You
Trillions of cicadas are set to invade the US for the first time in 221 years.

An event like this hasn't occurred since 1803 when Thomas Jefferson was president and it's not expected to happen again until 2244.
Three weeks into the process, many of the cicadas will be high in the trees, where they laid their eggs.
The eggs will eventually fall to lower ground, where cicadas will hatch and burrow underground.
Within two to six weeks, most of the cicadas will die after reproducing.

☕️Coffee Fights Aging
Drink up!
New research has unveiled the potential health benefits of trigonelline — a natural molecule found in coffee.
This discovery is pivotal in the quest to improve muscle health and functionality, especially as we age.
Sarcopenia is characterized by the gradual weakening of muscles due to cellular changes associated with aging. This leads to a significant decline in muscle mass, strength, and ultimately, a reduction in physical independence.
In pre-clinical models, coffee which contains supplementation with trigonelline enhanced mitochondrial activity, thus aiding in the preservation of muscle function during aging.
